Luciano Kulikov

Composer. He graduated from Facultad de Bellas Artes, Universidad Nacional de La Plata, in 2012, where he took lessons given by Prof. Mariano Etkin, Prof. Carlos Mastropietro, and Prof. Cecilia Villanueva, among others. Also, he took lessons with Antoine Beuger, Jean-Luc Hervé and Marcelo Delgado.

Luciano took part, as composer, in The third International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky City, Russia (Lecturers: Antoine Beuger, Jean-Luc Hervé). Also, he was active composer of the following workshops: Ceibo: Curso de perfeccionamiento en composición, in Buenos Aires (Lecturer: Luca Belcastro), Prismas, festival permanente de creación latinoamericana, in Santiago de Chile (lecturer: Luca Belcastro), and The first, second and fourth Seminario/encuentro de compositores y saxofonistas, in La Plata, Argentina (Lecturers: Dr. Joseph Murphy, Johannes Thorell and John Sampen).

He received a conDiT commission for a new horn and violoncello piece, premiered by Delphine Gauthier-Guiche and Martín Devoto. He received a stipend by Fondo Nacional de las Artes, to compose and premiere a new music theater piece and to attend lessons given by Marcelo Delgado.

Luciano, with a group of argentine composers and players, had made a Northern Europe tour in 2015. There, he was part of the Nordic Saxophone Festival, at Musiikkitalo, Helsinki, where he presented his pieces in Argentine revisited concert. Then, he worked with the Nordic Saxophone Quartet a new piece of him in Stockholm, premiered by this quartet in Khimaira. Also, he taught seminars about contemporary argentine music and his own music in Ingesund University, Arvika.

His music, was played in Aarhus, Bernal, Buenos Aires, Chaykovskiy, Helsinki, La Plata, Moscú, Perm, Santiago de Chile and Stockholm by Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, Nordic Saxophone Quartet, Ensamble Y, Ensamble de Guitarras de Chile, Camerata Argentina de Guitarras, Delphine Gauthier-Guiche, Sergej Tchirkov, Martín Devoto, Federico Jaureguiberry, Martín Proscia and Perttu Nurkka, among others.
